NEW CLIENT FAQ'S

WHEN DOES MY INTRODUCTORY OFFER START?

Your Introductory Offer starts on the day of your FIRST VISIT. That means, you can sign up anytime but your 30 days doesn’t start until you actually come in for your first class.

I’M SIGNED UP FOR THE INTRODUCTORY OFFER, WHY DOES IT SHOW A $20 COST WHEN I GO TO BOOK CLASSES?

All of our classes will show the per class cost at the time of booking but that does NOT mean that you will be charged. This per class price is shown as a reference for people who do NOT have an active pass or membership and will be required to pay a drop in. If you have an active Introductory Offer on your account, you can book classes without worry of being charged a drop in fee.

WHAT DOES MY INTRODUCTORY OFFER GIVE ME ACCESS TO?

During your Introductory Offer period you have UNLIMITED access to all regularly scheduled weekly classes both in studio and live virtual. You also have access to our extensive On Demand library of recorded classes which you can access anytime and anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. Your Introductory Offer does NOT give you access to specialty trainings or SUP Yoga classes.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?

When you come for class, you’ll want to have a yoga mat and a hand towel at minimum. We do RECOMMEND purchasing a yoga mat towel, block, and yoga strap but these are not required. We rent quality yoga mats, mat towels, hand towels, and shower towels at the studio for a fee. We also sell yoga mats, mat towels, blocks, straps, and other yoga accessories in our retail store.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?

Comfortable athletic clothing that you don’t mind sweating in. All of our adult classes, with the exception of Meditation + Restore and Prenatal, are heated. Click HERE to read more about our different class types.

WHAT’S THE EASIEST WAY TO BOOK CLASSES?

We think that the easiest way to book is to download our mobile app for iPhone or Android and login using the login credentials that your created at the time of registration. The app will also give you easy access to join live virtual classes and the On Demand library of videos. If you don’t want the app, you can also book classes online through our schedule by using the login credentials that your created at the time of registration.

IS PRE-BOOKING REQUIRED?

While pre-booking is not required, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for ALL yoga classes. We have limited spots in each class and if you want to guarantee your ability to practice, we highly encourage that you sign up ahead of time as some classes do sell out.

ARE YOUR CLASSES SUPER CROWDED?

We limit all of our classes to a specific capacity based on the amount of designated mat spots that we have marked on the floor of the yoga room. This ensures ample space between mats and eliminates feelings of a class being “over-crowded.”

HOW MANY CLASSES SHOULD I ATTEND PER WEEK?

When you’re first starting out, we recommend a MINIMUM of 2 classes per week. An ideal number of classes per week would be 3-4 based on your schedule and availability. The most important thing to ensure success through yoga is CONSISTENCY.

DO YOUR TEACHERS DO HANDS-ON ASSISTS IN CLASSES?

Our teachers have the freedom to offer hands-on assists in class and it is highly encouraged. Don’t want to be touched? Don’t worry! We have mat markers at the front desk and if you want to opt-out of assisting, simply place one of these markers at the top of your mat and our teachers will know that you do not want assists.

DO YOU RENT OR SELL YOGA ACCESSORIES?

Yes, we sell all of the yoga accessories that you could possibly need at the studio! We always recommend that our clients purchase QUALITY items because this can truly change the entire experience of your yoga practice. We sell Manduka yoga mats & mat towels, which we believe are the perfect fit for the style of yoga we teach and practice. We have also sell blocks, clothing, paddle boards, books, and more! Click HERE to check out our retail store.

WHAT KIND OF AMENITIES DO YOU HAVE?

We understand the importance of convenience and comfort. We have four changing rooms near the lobby, in addition to spacious men’s and women’s bathroom facilities. We are pleased to offer three shower stalls in both the men’s and women’s bathrooms. Our bathrooms are also equipped with cubbies for your personal belongings and large changing areas for convenience. Click HERE to read more about our amenities and what makes Spotted Dog Yoga & SUP stand out from other yoga studios.

HOW EARLY SHOULD I COME FOR CLASSES?

At minimum, you should arrive 5 minutes before class. You may not be able to enter the class if you arrive late.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE AFTER CLASS TO USE THE FACILITIES BEFORE YOU CLOSE?

Once class is over, our staff will stay for 15 minutes post class to do clean up and get ready to close. We ask that if you are using the facilities you keep that in mind and are ready to leave within this time frame.

WHAT ARE THE PRICES FOR CLASSES AFTER THE INTRODUCTORY OFFER?

We have MANY pricing options available once you’ve completed your first month with us. We offer a wide variety of monthly membership options, class passes, and annual memberships. For new clients we offer a $79 monthly unlimited with a 1 year minimum commitment if you sign up during your Introductory Month. We always recommend that you do your Introductory Month to see how many times per week you are able to attend classes and then speak with a staff member to find the perfect plan for you.

WHAT TYPES OF YOGA TRAINING PROGRAMS DO YOU OFFER?

At Spotted Dog Yoga & SUP, we create programs that combine these 3 practices: asana (yoga practice), meditation, and inquiry. Your yoga practice will give you access to vitality, power, and freedom. Your meditation practice will give you access to getting present and awakening. Your inquiry practice will give you access to discovery and new possibilities. Our core yoga training programs include: Beginners Workshop, 40 Days to Personal Revolution, and Awaken 200-Hour Yoga Training.
